While there is much that I disagree with, and even find strange, about the charismatic movement, there is nothing about it that is politically dangerous. What is dangerous, however, is the way that some of our fellow citizens are willing to vilify and dehumanize those with whom they disagree. [...] Jesus Camp doesn’t tell us much about evangelicals or the Religious Right. But it speaks volumes about the anti-populist and anti-religious attitudes of secular America.
