Stallone im Interview



Sylvester Stallone im Interview mit Christianity Today über seinen Glauben und den neuen Rocky-Film.

Rocky Balboa - der sechste Teil der Rocky-Saga - startet heute in den USA (in Deutschland erst ab 08.02.07 im Kino) und soll "spirituelle Elemente" enthalten. Passend zum Film gibt es sogar eine Webseite mit Material für den Hauskreis oder einen evangelistischen Einsatz.

Besonders interessant ist die Passage in dem Interview, in der Stallone über den Glauben im kommenden Rambo IV spricht:



In Rambo IV [coming in 2008], a Christian group goes to places like Viet Nam or Burma, where [indigenous] people are being killed because of their faith. And this Christian group brings them Bibles and supplies, but the group is abducted. Then Rambo goes in there and he sees the strength of the faith that these people have. He's very affected by it and it changes his life.



Da frage ich mich doch glatt: Wird sich Rambo wohl bekehren?

Rocky VI ist per se evangelistisch, denn in dem Alter kann niemand einen Boxkampf ohne göttlichen Beistand überleben, geschweige denn gewinnen.

:-) ich weiß gar nicht so genau, ob er gewinnt. aber gabe es nicht schon öfter boxer in hohem alter, die noch gewonnen haben?!
